Situated in the heart of Newtown, STUCCO houses a total of 38 people in 8 self-contained units. There are six 5-bedroom terraces and two 4-bedroom flats, all of which face onto a fantastic, leafy courtyard. In each unit there is a kitchen, phone and bathrooms. We have a common a laundry with two washing machines. Each household decides how it will be run. Some may have communal cooking and a cleaning roster, whereas other units may be less strict. There is also a hall with a piano and pool table, beautiful gardens and a sundeck.

Rent at STUCCO is one of the cheapest at just $70 per week, and this is primarily due to it being run as a cooperative. Whilst STUCCO picks up the gas bill, each unit is individually billed for their electricity and phone usage. The only other costs you will incur is a bond of , equal to 4 weeks rent.

It's all about location, and STUCCO has it! We are a very comfortable and convenient 10 minutes walk from Sydney Uni. Across the road is a nice, green park, and a little way beyond that is King St., with it's multitude of shops, restaurants and cafes. As far as public transport goes, buses run to the city frequently via King St, and STUCCO is just around the corner from Macdonaldtown train station.
